D1A Rankings for 2026-27 Week1
We're opening the season with the D1A rankings and, to be honest, we're not changing much.
We need to see something to knock Cal and Navy off the top two. With Cal seeing their halfback combination leaving they are vulnerable to being moved out of #1, but somebody has to do something special to get that accomplished.
A few teams who lost big-time players move out. New teams in D1A come into the top 25 and UCLA, which has moved out, moves out.

Prusmack Awards Handed Out Over US Rugby Foundation Weekend
This past weekend during the US Rugby Foundation Hall of Fame awards event, the Prusmack Award winners were recognized.
The Prusmack Award is given to the top collegiate 7s players in the nation—one for a men's player, and one for a women's player.
This year, and, actually, not for the first time, both winners come from Life University.
2027 Boys HS National Championships Dates, Venue Confirmed
The Boys HS Rugby National Championships has confirmed that it will return to The Rugby Grounds at the Moose Lodge in Elkhart, Ind., and will once again be held leading into Memorial Day Weekend for 2027.

RugbyTown 7s This Weekend
The RugbyTown 7s returns to Glendale this weekend, kicking off at Infinity Park on Friday.
The tournament features 21 teams, with four pools of four teams, and then a separate pool five military service teams.
This event serves as the Armed Forces Championships as well as the overall RugbyTown 7s (which, perhaps one day, could be the same thing).
