Florida Collegiate Season Opens With New Contenders
It's a new season for the Florida Collegiate Conference, and since last year's conference champs (and, ultimately, CRAA D1AA champs) St. Thomas has moved up to D1A, things are more wide open.
Major challenger Florida State, which fell to STU in the conference final last year, opened their season with a 28-14 win over University of Florida.

Recently-retired Eagle Nate Augspurger has a new job.
The 50-cap 15s national team player, who also played 7s for the USA, has returned to his home state of Minnesota to become Director of Rugby and Men’s Head Coach for St. John’s University Men’s Rugby and College of Saint Benedict Women’s Rugby.
