Tense Test Match Sees USA Women Hold On
The USA women have made it two wins out of two in the British Isles with a tense, sometimes fractious 26-24 victory over Wales in Cardiff.
This follows on to their comeback win over Ireland last week.
The Eagles, who seems to be on a bit of an upswing since the arrival of Head Coach Jack Hanratty, are now 4-3 on the year and have won three in a row.

In one of the most stirring comebacks in the history of the women's Eagles, the USA came back from a 31-12 deficit to beat Ireland in Dublin 40-36.
The Eagles didn't look bad, per se, in the first half, but they looked outmatched. Ireland was playing faster and smarter and torched the USA on quick passing and taking the ball at pace.

The WXV Global Series kicks off for the USA Sunday in Dublin with the 8th-ranked Eagles taking on 5th-ranked Ireland.
This is the next step in a series of difficult challenges for the USA team, which, by the end of 2026 will have seen them play 10 test matches, including six against teams ranked in the top six by World Rugby.
