We're opening the season with the D1A rankings and, to be honest, we're not changing much.
We need to see something to knock Cal and Navy off the top two. With Cal seeing their halfback combination leaving they are vulnerable to being moved out of #1, but somebody has to do something special to get that accomplished.
A few teams who lost big-time players move out. New teams in D1A come into the top 25 and UCLA, which has moved out, moves out.
Keep an eye on Ohio State, and Colorado State. We are very curious about Western Washington and how they will fare.
