Tonga Kofe is one of the most promising young front-rowers to come out of the American rugby pathway. A powerful and hard-working prop, he rose through the Utah Warriors development system before earning a professional contract with Leicester Tigers in England’s Premiership Rugby. Kofe also stepped onto the international stage with the U.S. Eagles in 2025, showcasing his physicality and potential against top-level competition. His performances in Major League Rugby and rapid ascent to the global professional level mark him as a standout talent with the ability to make a long-term impact for American rugby.

Eagle Men Wrap 2025 with Win Over Physical Romanian Side

The record will show that the USA beat Romania 26-18, but really it wasn't that close as the Eagles put in a pretty gritty defensive performance to beat the Oaks in Bucharest and regain the Pershing Cup.

With the win the USA ends 2025 3-6, and 7-3 overall against Romania (not counting the 21-0 win in 1919 between a USA military team and a Romanian mostly military team).
