This weekend in D1A College action brought a few surprises.
Life University defeated longtime rivals Arkansas State 31-14 in Marrietta Saturday.
In a defensive battle in the first half, it wasn’t until the 26th minute that anyone scored—Seth Kros went over, and Jony Lee’s conversion made it 7-0 for the Running Eagles.
Hooker Adam Chadwick added a try just before halftime for a 12-0 lead, but Life still had a lot of work to do.

Pacific Four and CRAA Women Championships Combine for an Epic Weekend
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – USA Rugby and the College Rugby Association of America are partnering up to combine the 2026 CRAA Women’s XVs National Championships and Pacific Four Series international matches at Heart Health Park in Sacramento, April 10-11.

“What many people don’t realize is that The Friendship Cup started as a single match in 2023 between Raptor Rugby (TN) and the Charlotte Cardinals,” said Friendship Cup founder and Peak Rugby partner Mike Orefice.
