Gonzaga, Doylestown Tops at Gonzaga Classic

Gonzaga hosted their Gonzaga Classic over the weekend, with the host team taking the Boys Varsity bracket, while Doylestown impressed in the Girls Varsity bracket and took the final.

Gonzaga College HS inducted their 2014-2016 teams, which won three state National Championships, into the Gonzaga Athletic Hall of Fame, so there were plenty of alumni watching the games.

Thunder Gets Job Done vs Belmont Shore

Thunder Rugby secured a spot in the Boys HS Rugby National Championships with an emphatic 45-15 victory over Belmont Shore.

With the win, Thunder, which has already defeated SOC Raptors, has won the three-team Socal play-in for the HS National Championships. (San Diego Mustangs had already secured an invitation.)

Teams Set for Montana Invitational Challenge

It’s going to be cold at the Montana Invitational this weekend but the rugby action should be pretty hot.

The tournament welcomes a HS Boys Elite, HS Girls Elite, HS Girls Premier, HS Boys Premier, and a U16 Boys Elite over the course of two days in Bozeman, MT.

Ed's vs Gonzaga Another Indication of How Close It All Is

The school-team pecking order is closing up tighter and tighter as the season progresses, and one example of that was this past weekend in Ohio.

Gonzaga visited St. Edward in a meeting of #7 and #16. This was a close one, and St. Edward was in the lead for a time in the second half at 12-7, before Gonzaga pulled away 28-15.
