Lindenwood Tournament Provides Unique Experience, Interesting Results

It was an interesting weekend in the Lindenwood tournament.

The scores are all relatively low because these were shortened games.

St. Louis University High edged Bixby 7-5 and then on Sunday tied Monarch 19-19.

Matthew Conte and Jay Green led the forward effort with their running and they were good on defense, as well.

Championships, Cross-Border Games, and the Lindenwood Tournament

As a weekend preview this isn't much of one as one of the games was already played.

Torrey Pines won the Southern California School League with a midweek victory over Orange Lutheran 43-13.

This sets up an All-California final for the Falcons. On March 14 they will face the winner of this weekend's St. Francis vs Rio Americano Northern California final.

A New Look in Texas Varsity Cup as Celina and Las Colinas Face Off

Led by three tries from Boaz Schappaugh Celina HS shut out Lake Travis 66-0 over the weekend.
That win has the Texas team solidly among the top teams in the Texas Boys Varsity Cup North Division.
As we mapped out a few days ago, the Celina team has managed to take a step forward despite having to replace almost their entire pack.

Boys HS Club Rankings 2026 Week 9

As we warned you earlier this year, these rankings will have major changes.

Club teams can have high turnover and the ebb and flow of success is a bit more dramatic for clubs than it is for schools. Having said that, we made a mistake in moving Boca down earlier because we should have ensured they remained ranked ahead of Key Biscayne.
