Bozeman, Mon. – For the third year in a row the Great Northwest Challenge will be held in Montana.
Building off the success from the 2025 tournament, the event will take place on June 13-14, 2026 at Bozeman Sports Park Complex, Bozeman, MT.
Based on feedback from this year’s tournament, the 2026 edition will feature the following divisions:
- High School Boys Division 1
- High School Boys Division 2
- High School Girls Division 1
- High School Girls Division 2
- U16 Boys Division 1
- U16 Boys Division 2
The Great Northwest Challenge looks to facilitate regional representation (SYRO-based All Star teams) and ensure that teams are made up from players within their SYRO region and are current USA Youth & High School players.
This tournament, organized by Montana Institute Of Sport and supported by the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce TBID Grant, provides for a college showcase and a talent identification event for USA Rugby.
