Playoff time hits a few states and that allows us to put aside thoughts of "oh, well, it was a tournament, or a non-league game, or a shortened game."
For the most part the leading teams in the rankings are just that. We do have a major shift in Northern California as San Mateo has taken several steps forward after a bit of a rocky start to the season.
Richmond's win over West End, we have to acknowledge, was a bit of a surprise to us. The Griffins return to the Top 50. Red Mountain's win in the Arizona final was also a bit of an upset, or at least it wasn't what we expected.
So look for a lot of changes the next few weeks.
