Life Mauled As Lindenwood Men Beat Running Eagles For First Time Ever

For the first time in 18 matches, Lindenwood University's men's team has defeated Life University in a 15-a-side rugby game.

After 17 straight losses to the Running Eagles dating back to 2013, the Lions exploded for a torrid second half to turn a tight one-point game into a bit of a runaway, eventually winning 45-27.

Ice storms put the kibosh on last week's opener for Life University's men's team, and the Running Eagles now will have to content themselves with taking on an imposing Lindenwood team with no buildup.

ASU at LIfe Called Off Due To Ice

The Life University vs Arkansas State game scheduled for February 13 was called off due to ice storms.

No immediate news is available on a makeup date.

Mizell Reportedly To Take Arkansas State Post

Iowa Central Community College Rugby has announced that assistant coach Jake Mizell will be leaving to become Head Coach at Arkansas State.

Mizell joined the Tritons in 2018 as the team's forwards and lineout coach and also was a key recruiter—something ASU was looking for.
