Wild One in Tucson as Wildcats Push Bears

In a surprise scoreline that was almost a shocker result, Cal held on to defeat Arizona 57-51 in Tucson.

Sitton Field is often a tough place to play for road teams and it certainly was for the Cal Bears Saturday, and they weren't helped by getitng into repeated penalty trouble, that ultimately led to several Arizona tries.

Explosive First Half Sees Saint Mary's Past Wildcats

In a much-anticipated matchup that didn't deliver the drama fans had hoped for, Saint Mary's defeated Arizona 68-15 Saturday in Moraga, Calif.

What Saint Mary's has is a group of players who play wide-open rugby with confidence and daring. They combine that with a group of leaders who keep everyone calm. The result is a quick and lethal early strike and tries.

University of Arizona Includes Rugby in New Elite Team Sports Designation

The University of Arizona has announced that five sports teams that were competing as club teams will now be re-designated under a new classification: Elite Team Sports.

Lindenwood, Arizona See Huge Value in Early Cross-Conference Clash

Early-season cross-border games are becoming more and more of a desired thing within D1A.

What’s perhaps interesting about it is that while in some areas those crossover games are played in order to bolster a team’s ranking, these early games are much more about player development.
