Arizona Takes Down UCLA
The University of Arizona laid down something of a market Saturday with a convincing 47-8 defeat of UCLA in PAC Rugby Conference action.
For Arizona, the last couple of years have been a bit up and down as the Wildcats have developed a core of young players. Head Coach Sean Duffy said this game was an indication that the youngsters are starting to take over.
Air Force Academy Leaving Varsity Cup
The US Air Force Academy men's rugby team has announced it will withdraw from the Varsity Cup.
In a long release authored by Joseph Cox and Jeff Ulmer, the team cited financial and competitive factors for the decision.

Red River Latest - OU Faces Arkansas
Arkansas takes on Oklahoma this weekend in a rematch of an early Red River clash, and it's the last chance, really, for the Razorbacks to knock off a big opponent.
In the previous game, OU won 48-25 and put themselves back into conference contention. And a week ago Oklahoma beat Texas Tech in a game that Head Coach Doug Neubauer said was important psychologically.
Central Washington Faces Both Lindenwoods
Central Washington opens up its inter-collegiate 15s schedule Thursday with a game at Lindenwood-Belleville, and will follow that up with a face-off with Lindenwood St. Charles on Saturday night.
