Boys School-Team Rankings Week 5

La Costa Canyon's win over Cathedral Catholic moves them up significantly, but the Mavericks are not the only team making a move.

Huskies, Serra, Orange Lutheran, StrakeJesuit, and Rio Americano all inch up several spots.

Hopefully the weather cooperates a little bit for us to see more action in Texas.

Cougars, Huskies Set for NC Final

Charlotte Catholic and Huskies will meet next week in the final of the North Carolina school league after both won semifinals this weekend.

Charlotte Catholic won comfortably, shutting out South Charlotte 47-0 to advance. This was a good result especially since Catholic were without a couple of starters who were still out following the Cathedral Catholic road trip two weeks ago.

La Costa Canyon have to be happy with the win.

LCC Downs Cathedral in Emotional Game

It’s all to play for in SoCal’s new Premier League after La Costa Canyon defeated Cathedral Catholic 43-33 Saturday in Carlsbad.

This was a close one throughout. LCC threatened the Dons’ line early on and Cathedral battled hard to keep the Mavericks out.
