Men’s Division 1AA (D1AA) represents a highly competitive tier of collegiate rugby in the United States, featuring programs governed by both National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) and the College Rugby Association of America (CRAA). It serves as a bridge between elite Division I play and developing Division II or Small College levels, offering strong regional competition and a pathway to national championships under each organization’s structure. While NCR and CRAA operate independently, both use the D1AA designation for schools with established programs that may not have the depth or resources of top-tier D1A teams.

15 Conference Games As DIAA Heats Up
DIAA games get underway this weekend with 12 (actually 15, we confirmed three more) conference games and a few crossovers, too.
Towson Starts Off Strong
Towson opened their inaugural season in the Mid Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC) with a trip to the University of Delaware and a nicely-taken victory.
Towson struck first when junior scrumhalfH Jake Commodari picked off an errant pass at the Delaware 10-meter-line and darted to the tryline carrying a defender to score in the corner.
DIAA: MARC And MAC Start Up
DIAA college teams are on the field this weekend with the Mid-American and the Mid-Atlantic (MAC and MARC, respectively) opening up conference play.
