The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC) was started in 2010 to serve the needs of the collegiate rugby community and has been a consistent supporter of the sport for its member teams since inception. The SCRC has proven itself to be responsive to the shifting needs of its members and the collegiate rugby community on the southeastern United States.

Tennessee Pulls Away from Kentucky to Unseat Champs

Tennessee continued their impressive run with a 39-22 defeat of Kentucky Saturday, taking down the two-time defending SCRC and NCR D1AA champions in the process. 

In a close match Tennessee was able to pull away late in the game.

NCR D1AA Playoff Teams Decided

Texas A&M defeated Sam Houston State 34-24 to win the Lonestar Conference, but both of those teams are already in the NCR playoffs.

The victory for Texas A&M, however, ensured them a week off before the quarterfinals on November 22.

Tennessee advanced to the final of the SCRC Saturday after a wild semifinal with an LSU side that would not go awat.

The Vols ran out to a seemingly insurmountable lead only to see it eliminated by the Tigers in the second half.

LSU Shakes Up SCRC With Tie vs Kentucky

LSU pulled off a huge result this weekend, holding two-time defending NCR D1AA champs Kentucky to a 31-31 tie in SCRC action.

For Kentucky, this was yet another reminder of how competitive the SCRC is, and while it’s likely the Wildcats will retain their top spot in the West due to points difference, it was a good lesson for them.
