Men’s Division 1AA (D1AA) represents a highly competitive tier of collegiate rugby in the United States, featuring programs governed by both National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) and the College Rugby Association of America (CRAA). It serves as a bridge between elite Division I play and developing Division II or Small College levels, offering strong regional competition and a pathway to national championships under each organization’s structure. While NCR and CRAA operate independently, both use the D1AA designation for schools with established programs that may not have the depth or resources of top-tier D1A teams.

BC Wins Close One Over Alabama

In an entertaining, back-and-forth match, Boston College helds off Alabama 26-20 Friday night in the ACRC Bowl Series at Charlotte, NC.

The game was marked by some exciting back play from BC and hard-nosed work by the 'Bama forwards, and was in doubt until right at the end.

Fall Men DI College Rankings Week 10

Some clashes between ranked teams, for the most part, went as expected, and because of that there aren't major changes in this fall's DI rankings.

Michigan's big loss to Wisconsin in the Big Ten 3rd/4th game shunts the Wolverines down a bit; Alabama's close loss to South Carolina moves the Tide up a bit; Arkansas beating Kansas shows us the Razorbacks are back ... so they move up.
