Playoff positions and various championships are on the line in a key weekend in Men's DI-level College Rugby.
Included in this slate of games are 11 of the 12 Rudy Scholz Award Nominees (Gavan D'Amore-Morrison's AIC is playing 7s). Indiana's Bryce Campbell has a DIA playoff warmup clash with Southern Indiana. Peter Malcolm's Wheeling Jesuit plays Notre Dame College in a non-conference clash.
Arkansas and Missouri clash for a spot in the DIAA playoffs and the Heart of America conference championship. Likewise, Washington and Western Washington are in their NCRC conference decider. St. Mary's (Scholz Nominee Dylan Audsley) plays Cal Poly in a came that should clinch the conference for the Gaels. Lindenwood (Lorenzo Thomas) takes on Davenport in a game that should secure the #2 spot in the Mid-South for the Lions.
The Pacific Western Conference is decided this weekend, as well, with a four-team, two-game semifinal-final format. UC Davis is strongly favored.
