Men’s Division 1AA (D1AA) represents a highly competitive tier of collegiate rugby in the United States, featuring programs governed by both National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) and the College Rugby Association of America (CRAA). It serves as a bridge between elite Division I play and developing Division II or Small College levels, offering strong regional competition and a pathway to national championships under each organization’s structure. While NCR and CRAA operate independently, both use the D1AA designation for schools with established programs that may not have the depth or resources of top-tier D1A teams.

Florida

Central Florida beat Florida 38-26 to improve to 3-2. Scrumhalf Jaxson Patterson and wing James White each scored two tries for the Knights, while captain and inside center Jack Puchalski and his center partner William Boundy each added one.

Bearkats, Sooners Lead Lonestar Playoff Field

The Lonestar D1AA Conference decides its champion this week with an eight-team playoff.

Unlike many conferences, that go through their playoffs either with a semifinal and final over a weekend, or split their playoffs over multiple weeks. Not the Lonestar—they have shortened quarterfinals and semifinals on Saturday, and the final on Sunday.
