Hugely Successful Global Youth 7s for USA U18s

The Global Youth 7s turned out to be a very successful trip for the USA U18 teams.

The USA Girls wrapped up their tournament with a 4-2 record, beating Cook Islands on Day One, taking down NZ Babas and Japan 26-12 and 35-17, respectively, on Day Two, and then also beating the BaBas 33-17 on Day Three.

Eagle Women Still Young, But Get Points in Cape Town

It is ironic, of course, that the USA women’s 7s team went 4-1 in Dubai and finished 5th, and 2-3 in Cape Town and finished 4th.

The USA women’s team provided all sorts of surprises in Day One of the opening weekend of the Series in Dubai.

Coming in with a very young, very inexperienced team, the Eagles were up against it with a tightened-up, eight-team tournament where there are no easy games.
