Upstate New York Conference

The Upstate New York Men’s Collegiate Rugby Conference (UNYMCRC) is a regional collegiate club-rugby competition affiliated with National Collegiate Rugby (NCR), organizing men’s college-rugby teams from the Upstate New York region. It provides an organized league schedule and standings platform for its member schools, facilitating club-level rugby competition among colleges in this region. The race for a national playoff spot among Upstate New York teams is still, essentially, wide open, but it might be a little more wide open for a couple of teams at the top.

SUNY Cortland took sole control of first place in the Upstate NY Men's DII College Conference, as they upended the other undefeated team in the league, RIT.

In an intense game where both teams understood what was at stale, the boys from the Rochester Institute of Technology came out strong.

Geneseo Helps Shake Up Upstate NY

Three weeks into the Upstate New York Men’s DII college season and already theres been a bit of a shakeup.

SUNY Geneseo, 4-4 last year, has jumped out to a 2-1 record with wins over Buffalo State and, this past weekend, SUNY Oswego. Their only loss was a close 29-24 decision to RIT.
