College Champions in 2025

Some time ago we at GRR World Headquarters posted a video mentioning that there were 31 national-level championships.

Well, that number has dropped a little of late, but we still have 28 competitions that, at the very least, the organization running it views it as a major championship.

Some are more all-encompassing than others. Some are more championship than others.

Franciscan Shines Brightly in NCR D3 Final

Rivals Franciscan and Slippery Rock wrapped up NCR's D3 season with a barnburner worthy of two heated rivals.

There's a lot of respect between the two teams, who split their first two games and finished 1st and 2nd in the Allegheny Conference. Slippery Rock came in as conference champs, but it was anyone's game.

It will be an all-Allegheny affair in the NCR D3 men’s final, after both Slippery Rock and Franciscan won their semifinals Friday in Houston.

Slippery Rock ran out to a 22-5 lead over New Mexico Tech and looked to once again be in position to win big.

Who Leads in Men's D3?

D3 college rugby and we are starting to see who is in charge.

Notably, in the Northern Lights, the two top D3 teams, St. John’s and St. Thomas, are winning games against the best that D2 can throw at them.
