The Rugby East Conference is a premier collegiate rugby conference in the United States, which determines its champion based on regular-season records rather than a playoff. The conference consists of Army West Point, Life University, University of Mary Washington, Mount St. Mary's University, U.S. Naval Academy (Navy), Penn State University, and Southern Virginia University.

Penn State Beats Kutztown, KU Takes Rugby East

In the final weekend of Rugby East action, Penn State defeated previously-unbeaten Kutztown, but KU did just enough to secure the conference championship.

Both teams scored three tries, with Penn State kicking three conversions and a penalty for 24 points, while all three of Kutztown’s tries went unconverted, leaving the score 24-15.
