The Rugby East Conference is a premier collegiate rugby conference in the United States, which determines its champion based on regular-season records rather than a playoff. The conference consists of Army West Point, Life University, University of Mary Washington, Mount St. Mary's University, U.S. Naval Academy (Navy), Penn State University, and Southern Virginia University.

CRAA Fall Classic Confirms Fixtures for 2025 Event

Spartanburg, SC— The College Rugby Association of America (CRAA) has announced the complete fixture lineup for the 2025 CRAA Fall Classic, returning to Spartanburg, SC, on December 6–7, 2025. 

The event will once again be hosted at the Louis P. Howell Athletic Complex at the University of South Carolina Upstate, in partnership with OneSpartanburg, Inc.

Mary Washington Edges Ohio State in Solid Outing for Two Changed Teams

Mary Washington defeated Ohio State 25-17 over the weekend in a cross-conference meeting of two teams that, last year, were in CRAA's new Challenge Cup postseason.

OSU and UMW, in fact, met in the 2024-25 Challenge Cup semifinals, which Mary Washington winning and going on to defeat Grand Canyon in the Challenge Cup final.

Navy Leaves It Late But Wins Rivalry Match With Army

The US Naval Academy held off Army West Point in a typical tight, tense, and hard-hitting affair.

With the win Navy finished atop the Rugby East with a 5-0 conference record.

Navy Wins on the Road, Too

Navy beat Penn State 36-7 Saturday in Rugby East action in what was, as DOR Gavin Hickie put it, the first “real road game” for the Midshipmen.

With the win Navy is now 4-0 in the Rugby East.
