The Rugby East Conference is a premier collegiate rugby conference in the United States, which determines its champion based on regular-season records rather than a playoff. The conference consists of Army West Point, Life University, University of Mary Washington, Mount St. Mary's University, U.S. Naval Academy (Navy), Penn State University, and Southern Virginia University.

Kutztown Impressive In Win Over Penn State

Kutztown University is now in 1st place in the Rugby East after defeating Penn State Saturday, riding a torrid first half and holding on as the Lions roared back.

Aaron Gray went over in the first five minutes to give Kutztown an early lead, and two minutes later scrumhalf Tai Kauwe zipped in and with Thorne O'Connell's conversion Kutztown led 12-0 after eight minutes.
