MARC—The Mid Atlantic Rugby Conference operates as a regional competitive Collegiate Rugby organization in conjunction with National Collegiate Rugby (NCR), and USA Rugby. MARC administers over 80 Collegiate and University rugby programs, and over 3,000 student-athletes, in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, DC. A complete listing of member institutions can be found on the contacts page or within the men's and women's competition pages. The MARC administers D1AA, D2, and D3 Men’s, and D2 and D3 Women’s competitive collegiate rugby programs. Our men's and women's programs are currently members of National Collegiate Rugby (NCR). All member teams are guided by USA Rugby or NCR Certified Coaching Staff. Our competitive structure follows the NCAA varsity sports model,with defined regional playoff pathways to National Championship competitions.

Rowan Survives Challenge, Looks for More

Rowan College may still be undefeated in the MARC Conference South, but it was a rough test for them last week.

The team was late to the venue, shortening their warmup, and missing a couple of players because of injury, and as a result saw York run out to an early lead.

MARC Final Four Decided

Earlier than expected, the Mid-Atlantic (MARC) final four has been confirmed. Kutztown will play East Stroudsburg, and Bloomsburg will play Delaware in the semifinals. MARC will receive three representatives at the national fall Round of 32 (Nov. 14-15).

Delaware Eyes Playoffs

There is new reason for the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC) to get excited about playoffs. The previous two years, the MARC championship coincided with the national fall Round of 32, so the conference received two seeds directly to the Round of 16.

4 Undefeated in MARC

The undefeateds remain undefeated in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference, and the top four are starting to come into focus.

In the Pennsylvania Division, Bloomsburg improved to 4-0 after a 118-17 win over Lock Haven (0-4). The team has scored 49 tries this season, and 18 were dotted down on Saturday.

Hurricane Doesn't Dampen MARC Victors

Hurricane Joaquin forced some cancellations and forfeits in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC), but four DII women’s games did take place. Out front were division leaders Kutztown and Bloomsburg, which outscored their opponents by a combined 98-0.
