It will be Rowan University against IUP in the MARC Conference final Sunday after both won semifinals Saturday.

IUP defeated York in one semi, while Rowan beat Drexel by a surprisingly close score of 25-11.

“I think we started slowly,” said Rowan co-captain JC Carr. “We tried to do a little too much; we weren’t patient.”

In the second half, Rowan did a better job working the ball through the phases and trusting their forwards.

“We weren’t trying to score from one play, and when we kept it in tight we did well. It was a good game for the forwards,” said Carr. “It’s all about making the smart decisions. We need to run our game plan, and if we do that on Sunday, we’ll be OK.”
