The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC) was started in 2010 to serve the needs of the collegiate rugby community and has been a consistent supporter of the sport for its member teams since inception. The SCRC has proven itself to be responsive to the shifting needs of its members and the collegiate rugby community on the southeastern United States.

SCRC Names All-Conference Selections

The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference has named the 2021 All-Conference for both Division I and Division II.  Conference and Collegiate Club Rugby National Champs Tennessee and Auburn led the way with 9 players selected from teach team.

Tennessee’s Greg Janowick and Auburn’s Niko Spino were each selected as Player of the Year for the respective divisions.

Tennessee Wins SCRC; Battle for Top Club Team Next?

Tennessee will face Bowling Green in a clash of the top DI college club teams in men’s college rugby.

Tennessee beat Clemson 26-17 Saturday in the SCRC final, and that sets up the match with MAC winners Bowling Green.

From Bottom to Top, Auburn Wins SCRC DII

 

Aside from the NCR DII college playoffs there was another important DII college game going on last weekend.

Auburn defeated Memphis 25-15 to win the SCRC DII and book a place in a championship clash with Rocky Mountain champs Montana State at the CRAA Championship weekend in Mathews, NC Dec 4.

Memphis, Auburn Win Key Games in SCRC DII

Auburn and Memphis both won in the SCRC Men's DII conference, setting up those two, along with Middle Tennessee State, as the leading teams in the conference.

Memphis beat MTSU 26-17 in a game that certainly implied that everyone is pretty close (Memphis beat Auburn 12-7 earlier in the season).

But Memphis Head Coach Blake White had a different view.
