BC Takes Liberty D1AA
The Boston College Eagles held off Babson 32-21 to win the Liberty Conference D1AA final Saturday.

Babson had come in having upset previously unbeaten Northeastern, a team that had defeated BC. But that's why they play the game. Boston College's attack has been building nicely and they opened up an early lead.

Probably the biggest head-turner result in D1AA over the weekend was Babson eking out a 48-47 win over Northeastern in the Liberty Conference semifinals.
Big Wins for Northeastern, BC as They Lead in Liberty D1AA
Northeastern is still on top of the Liberty D1AA after a 67-5 win over UConn.
For Head Coach Ed Turbridy, success has come when his team is composed. When they play unflustered and organized on attack, with freshman flyhalf Harry Johnston pulling the strings, they score tries.
And then they combine that with toughness; prop Simon Coleman setting the tone up front.
Four Conference Champions Face Off in NCR D1AA Semis
Well we saw the NCR D1AA quarterfinals produce a few nailbiters, and it's likely we'll see more with the semifinals.
NCR D1AA Pared Down to Four
Your NCR D1AA last four are Louisville, Boston College, Kentucky, and two-time defending champions Virginia Tech.
The GRR DIAA rankings, which include teams not in NCR, list Kentucky at #1, VT at #2, and Louisville #4 after they erased losses to Bowling Green and Western Michigan by beating both in their conference playoffs. And BC are ranked #12.
