The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC) was started in 2010 to serve the needs of the collegiate rugby community and has been a consistent supporter of the sport for its member teams since inception. The SCRC has proven itself to be responsive to the shifting needs of its members and the collegiate rugby community on the southeastern United States.

The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference wrapped up another exciting season with the University of South Carolina being crowned champions at the SCRC 15s Championships in Columbia, SC. The Gamecocks capped off a fantastic season with a 50-22 win over Alabama in the final.

South Carolina has claimed the SCRC Championship, but perhaps the biggest news of the weekend among the SEC teams is that they didn’t beat Tennessee in the final, they beat Alabama.

Tennessee Beats So Carolina for 1st

Tennessee defeated South Carolina 25-19 to take 1st in the SCRC East and confirm the semifinal matchups for November 15-16.

The Vols took a 17-5 lead into the halftime break only to see South Carolina come back and lead 19-17 late in the game.
