Charlotte Tigers to 2-0 in MSIRL
The Charlotte Tigers defeated Wando 15-7 to move to 2-0 in the new Mid-South Independent Rugby League (MSIRL).
This is the second time that the Tigers have defeated a defending state champ - Wando won South Carolina last spring, and the other team the Tigers beat, the East Cobb Trojans, were Georgia state champs last season.
Boys HS Scores Preseason
It's early days in the Boys HS 2016-17 season. Most of the games are in Southern California, but we've got a few games elsewhere.

Tigers Shut Out Trojans
The Charlotte Tigers enjoyed a nice start in the new MSIRL as they shut out the defending Georgia state champions Saturday.
The Tigers defeated the East Cobb Trojans 48-0, led by a player-of-the game performance from captain and No. 8 Jonathan Rubin.
New HS League Forming in South
A new Boys HS league is being set up in the Southeast, with nine teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia committing to play in the new competition.
