Massive Loss: Longtime Ref Pat McNally

Longtime American rugby referee and champion of the game Pat McNally has died.

McNally, who played rugby at Cal State Long Beach in the late 1970s and early 1980s was an energetic and well-liked rugby referee who maintained good humor even when others didn't.

World Rugby Moves To Postpone WRWC To 2022

On March 2 World Rugby announced it was recommending the postponement of the 2021 Rugby World Cup women's 15s tournament.

The recommendation will be looked at by the Rugby World Cup Board and the World Rugby Executive Committee in meetings next week, March 8 and 9.

We saw a few firsts this week with American rugby players playing overseas.

Among those first was a first run-on for Nafi Maafu for USA Perpignan in France's Pro D2. Perpignan won 24-20 over Valence Romans.
