British & Irish Lions Tour Matches on NBCSN, Peacock
STAMFORD, Conn.– NBC Sports today announced it has become the exclusive U.S. media home of The British & Irish Lions Tour of South Africa rugby this summer, with eight matches live on Peacock. Encore match coverage will air on NBCSN.
EIRA to Play Spain U18s This Week
Eagle Impact Rugby Academy flew out Monday to Spain for a short but very welcome tour.
The EIRA U18s team will play Spain's U18s on July 1 and July 3, staying and playing in Valladolid in Northwest Spain.
Every player and coach on the EIRA team had to be vaccinated as per requirements from the Spanish government.
USA Accepted as a Candidate to Bid to Host RWC
Glendale, Colo.—USA Rugby has announced that the United States has been formally accepted as a candidate to host one or more of the upcoming Rugby World Cup events in 2027, 2029 and/or 2031.
New Teams Added To Quest For Gold 7s
Great Britain's Men's and Women's 7s teams, as well as Jamaica's Women's team, have been added to Quest For Gold tournament in Los Angeles June 25-26.
Teams were expected to be added to this event sort of at the last minute and that is exactly how it has come about. In addition, Samoa and Japan have withdrawn from the event.
