Denver East Holds Off Valor in Colorado Final
Devner East held off Valor Rugby in a wild Rugby Colorado Boys HS final over the weekend.
Denver won the game 26-25 and yet never trailed in the game.
After falling behind Valor Christian continued to battle on and charged back to threaten late.
Opponent-Specific Game Plan Took Okapi to Title
Okapi won their third consecutive Florida state title with a 20-12 defeat of Key Biscayne Saturday.
Key Biscayne beat 33-26 in league play back on February 8. Aside from that the Okapi's White team (Okapi fielded two teams in the league, White and Pink) ran the table. Key Biscayne ended up 7-0 and Okapi 6-1.
Boys HS National Championship Seeds Confirmed
The Boys HS Rugby National Championships seeds have been announced.
As is usual for the format, there are eight single-school teams in a bracket format, eight HS Club teams in a bracket format, and there are eight Tier 2 teams, which are both school and club teams in a bracket format.
Surprisingly Close Games in State Finals
We've got some state champions and some state finalists decided, and it's surprising how close all of the games were.

Fort Hunt edged the Richmond Strikers 38-37 in the Rugby Virginia final, capping off a short but very competitive top-tier competition in that state.
This was an intense, well-played game throughout.
