Big win for UCLA.

D1A Rankings for 2025-26 Week 26

We skipped last week but we've got everything in from the last two weeks into these rankings.

The big question is, what to do about UCLA? They have not won a lot of the games they kind of needed to win in order to be ranked in the Top 8 in the West, but they did beat Cal Poly over the weekend, and is that enough?

Our current #1 and our current biggest mover. We suspect if they meet again it will be much closer. Photo Dan Caple.

Boys HS Club Rankings 2026 Week 12

There is of course an argument as to who should be #1, but generally once we've settled on a #1, we need compelling evidence to knock them off.

Charlotte Cardinals have the Friendship Cup on the horizon, as do Cavemen (and several other ranked teams), so it seems smart to wait on them. San Diego Mustangs, frankly, did well enough to bump to #1, but we'll wait.

St. Francis didn't quite make it to #1 but they are close.

Boys School-Team Rankings Week 11

Well we have a new #1.

This was a tough call because, at least this week, Herriman didn't have a matchup that screamed "send us to #1!" Our other options were St. Ignatius, who won a game GRR watched and we came away thinking they needed something more; and St. Francis, who were dynamic and thrilling, but have also lost a couple of games this season.

D1AA Spring Rankings Week 7

We are pretty well set in our rankings now until the national playoffs happen.

We could still see Florida State upset MAU, and shift things there, but right now it looks as though MAU and ARC will win their conferences.

At the 16-20 level we do have some changes ... changes that are probably overdue. Claremont Colleges comes in and that seems to be the right move.

Millennia Atlantic moves up.

D1AA Spring Rankings Week 6

We skipped last week but we're back now with the latest D1AA Rankings.

Yes WWU lost, but to a very good Trinity Western team out of British Columbia.

The February 28 result that had the most influence on the rankings was Oregon beating Central Washington, and that result moves the Ducks up a bit.
