Top-ranked Minnesota-Duluth slammed a hard-nosed Wisconsin-Stout 67-0 to return to the national Men’s DII semifinals.
 
The Fighting Penguins were just flat the better team, and played a precise, expansive game despite rain and wind in St. Louis.

University of Minnesota-Duluth has been the #1-ranked team in the Goff Rugby Report DII rankings for the entire fall, and they’ve been there because no one has come close to defeating them.

Oswego Completes DII Top 16

SUNY Oswego defeated top-seeded SUNY Cortland 37-12 Sunday in the final of the Upstate NY Men’s DII league.

That game finalized the 16 teams in the USA Rugby National Playoffs.

Playing on a snowy, muddy pitch at the SUNY Oswego campus, both teams won their semifinals on Saturday, with Cortland dominating Niagara 20-3 and Oswego edging Buffalo State 19-12.

GVSU Gets by Xavier for Great Lakes Title

Grand Valley State University capped off their Great Lakes Conference season with a 44-27 victory over Xavier of Cincinnati to win the GLC title.
