The Gateway Collegiate Rugby Conference (GCRC) is a Division 2 men's college rugby conference that operates under the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) organization.
The GCRC features teams from across America's heartland, including Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, and Arkansas.
The Gateway Conference has shown itself to be pretty deep and competitive at the top end, despite some issues for some teams in getting enough players (or coaches) after the COVID shutdowns.

The Gateway Men's DII Conference has its Eastern Division #1 seed decided as Principia has continued to roll through the opposition there.

You ever notice that technical and engineering colleges seem to do well in rugby?
It’s noticeable. RPI made the conference playoffs in both men and women. RIT women made the national playoffs, and so did Colorado School of Mines.
NC State, which has a strong engineering program, and they along with Cal Poly and Texas A&M have all been successful in rugby.
Ten conferences have confirmed their Men's DII College conferences, with three more to go.
