The South Independent Rugby Conference (SIRC) was a collegiate rugby conference in the southeastern United States, though it appears to be less active or have been superseded. Recent information points to the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC), which was founded in 2010 to serve collegiate rugby in the region and is still active today. The SCRC is responsive to member teams' needs and hosts championships for different formats, such as the 15s competition and a 7s championship.

Playing on the wide fields of Atlanta Old White, the teams had plenty of space to work with, and to guard, and it was defense that saw UCF through.
