The South Independent Rugby Conference (SIRC) was a collegiate rugby conference in the southeastern United States, though it appears to be less active or have been superseded. Recent information points to the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC), which was founded in 2010 to serve collegiate rugby in the region and is still active today. The SCRC is responsive to member teams' needs and hosts championships for different formats, such as the 15s competition and a 7s championship.

MTSU Puts Rest on Notice

This might be a rebuilding year for Middle Tennessee State University, but don't tell the rest of the South Independent that.

MTSU has knocked off major rivals Kennesaw State and, most recently, Memphis. That win ut MTSU at 4-0 in the SIRC North, and in excellent shape as they enter the winter break.
