Rugby Northeast is a collegiate rugby conference operating in the northeastern United States, particularly covering New England and surrounding states. It currently supports 21 women’s Division III teams and a number of men’s and women’s club teams. The mission of the conference includes organizing regular season schedules, registering teams, and providing a governance structure for its member institutions.

RWU Downs Bentley in Rescheduled Game

In a game rescheduled due to rain, 19th-ranked Roger Williams defeated #33 Bentley 36-5 Thursday evening in Rugby Northeast Men’s DII college rugby action.

Going into the game, Roger Williams Head Coach Chris Palombo said he wanted his players to be smarter with the ball in hand, and more careful with the ball in contact.

Big Thursday Night Game in Rugby Northeast

In a rare midweek game in Men's DII college rugby, Roger Williams travels to Bentley tonight for a makeup game.

RWU and Bentley were supposed to clash on Saturday, but the game was rained out. With Roger Williams sitting at 3-0 and Bentley at 2-1, this game has big ramifications.

RWU Head Coach Chris Palombo said his team still needs to imporve.
