The High Peaks Rugby Conference is a regional collegiate rugby league under National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) that spans schools primarily from the Rocky Mountain and Mountain West region. For the 2024 season, the conference expanded significantly by merging with the former Rocky Mountain Conference and adding more than a dozen new teams, making it one of the largest and most competitive college-rugby conferences in the country.

WSU Downs Mines - Conference Gets Tougher

The Rocky Mountain Conference got a bit of a shakeup as Western State defeated defending conference champs Colorado School of Mines 34-28 Saturday.

It was a very physical game and Western State matched Mines well in the first half. The two teams traded tries before WSU scored midway through the first half and then right before the break to make it 19-7 at halftime.
