Here's a little look back at the past month or so and the players who had some big performances.
The Wichita wing scored three tries in a victory over Junction City.
Described by his coach as "a large, fast wrecking ball," Campanell has exploded onto the scene for Bixby this year at center.
The Kansas City Junior Blues are on tour in Ireland Irish Rugby Tours, taking their first international tour in 16 years.
The last time they were touring overseas, Eddie Cummings was the coach. Now his sone, Casey, is the coach and to be able to take the team overseas is a special moment for Casey.
The St. Francis Lancers made it two All-California HS titles in a row as they torched Torrey Pines 60-41 in a wild, high-scoring championship match.
"We were outgunned," said Torrey Pines Head Coach Matty Sandoval. "We stuck to the game plan and for the most part it worked. We just don't match up with their attack."
Top-ranked HS Club Charlote Cardinals defeated Gonzaga College HS Saturday 43-29.
The Cardinals took an early lead on a couple of scores Gonzaga would probably want back and expanded that into a 35-8 advantage at one points.
"All credit to Peter and his team for giving us 70 minutes of great rugby," said Cardinals Head Coach Jason Zehmke.
