Yellow Rose Showcase Offers Early Cross-Border 7s Qualifier in Texas
The New Year sees the NCR college schedule shift from 15s to 7s, and a series of tournaments leading up to the CRC event April 24-26 in Maryland.
This 7s schedule includes a series of automatic qualifiers. Some of these are a bit more local in nature, but others push to get as many competitors from around the nation. One of the latter type is the Yellow Rose Showcase.
50 Years on and Maybe St. Bonaventure Has it Figured Out
St. Bonaventure’s run to the NCR D1 title was weeks, months, and years in the making, but the trophy is less important, really, than the lessons the program can provide for others.
Success for St. Bonaventure is more about what the players get out of it. It’s more than just about accumulating players; it’s more than just about one coach; it’s about a sustainable plan.
College Champions in 2025
Some time ago we at GRR World Headquarters posted a video mentioning that there were 31 national-level championships.
Well, that number has dropped a little of late, but we still have 28 competitions that, at the very least, the organization running it views it as a major championship.
Some are more all-encompassing than others. Some are more championship than others.
