Women DII College Nationals Bracket
USA Rugby has updated their Women's DII College National Championship bracket.
This weekend sees the Round of 16 and quarterfinals in four separate locations, with UC Davis, UC Riverside, Mary Washington, and Atlanta hosting the four brackets.
SIRC Championship Around the Corner
The SIRC's seeding for the DII's Round of 16 will be determined by this weekend's set of playoff games between Georgia, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Tulane, and Kennesaw State.
Saturday, UGA has a scheduled bout with UTC while Tulane faces off against Kennesaw State. The winners will play Sunday for the conference championship.
College Playoff Venues Set
USA Rugby has announced the venues for the spring college playoff games.
These venues will host the Men's DIA and DIAA playoffs, and women's DI and DII spring playoffs.
Mary Washington, AU Compete for #2 Seed in Capital
Mary Washington took a 50-42 win, and maybe a playoff spot, from American University last Saturday thanks, in part, to the traffic.
Both teams scored the same amount of tries, forcing each kicker to determine the outcome of the game. Luckily for Mary Washington and unluckiny for America, traffic delayed some key AU starters and they missed the first half.
Eckerd Looks to Playoffs after FGCU
Regardless of the outcome of tomorrow's game, Eckerd clinched the DII Florida conference last week with a 57-5 win against FAU and will move on to the DII playoffs.
But, they will still be tested once more by FGCU before they can claim an undefeated conference season.
