The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC) was started in 2010 to serve the needs of the collegiate rugby community and has been a consistent supporter of the sport for its member teams since inception. The SCRC has proven itself to be responsive to the shifting needs of its members and the collegiate rugby community on the southeastern United States.

Lindenwood Belleville Downs Tennessee

Lindenwood Belleville defeated Tennessee 30-22 Friday in an early-fall run-out for both teams.

For the Lindenwood-Belleville Lynx, it was a very successful, if imperfect, step into DI rugby. The Lynx started as a varsity program last year, making the WIIL Conference final, and getting into the national quarterfinals. They only lost twice, to the two national DII finalists.

SCRC 7s Finals Set

The SCRC Conference 7s final tournament lineup has been set.

Despite winning the 2nd of the two buildup tournaments, Kentucky won't be there, because the Wildcats missed the first tournament, and 15 points for winning one wasn't enough to get to the top eight.

Gamecocks Win 1st SEC 7s Tournament

The University of South Carolina Gamecocks have won the first 7s tournament in the SCRC Conference, defeating Alabama in the final.

In Pool A, Alabama finished 1st with wins over Ole Miss (19-5) and Alabama-Birmingham (33-5). Ole Miss defeated UAB to finish 2nd at 1-1. In Pool B, Mississippi State won the pool with Auburn 2nd and Georgia’s 2nd side 3rd.
