World Cup Squad Unveiled as Eagle Women Prepare for Fiji
The USA Women's World Cup squad was unveiled at a swanky event in downtown Washington DC Thursday night.
The Golden Gala brought well-known rugby personalities and some well-heeled rugby-lovers together to have a bit of a celebration of USA Rugby's 50th Anniversary, and announce the World Cup team.

(World Rugby Release)—World Rugby has announced an exclusive, multi-year, multi-platform rights agreement with CBS Sports for Paramount+ to become the U.S. home for all men’s and women’s World Rugby events through 2029, including the next three Rugby World Cups and all USA national team matches.
Pacific Nations Cup Hosting a Big Step for USA
The USA’s hosting of most of the Pacific Nations Cup is a big deal and will be an important step for the country in building toward the 2031 Rugby World Cup.
Salt Lake City isn’t the only location for games—Denver and Sacramento will host, as well—but it’s the home of the final championship games.

The beginning of the USA Women's National 15s team's 2025 campaign, a Rugby World Cup year, is around the corner and there's some interesting news.
The Eagles will play Japan at Wallis Annenberg Stadium at UCLA on April 26. That game is expected to sell out in what is a relatively small stadium.
