Game List Expands for Boys HS Weekend
We've got well over 100 games on the boys HS rugby schedule this week.
We probably have missed some because, as we said before, teams and leagues use different apps and tracking methods. So if we missed you, let us know!
Wisconsin has kicked off and they have a nice full slate of games. Green Bay remains a top contender in that state and Pulaski showed well at Nash Bash.
Big Weekend in Boys HS Rugby
A few notes from the last couple of weeks and looking ahead.
There was a big result in Northern California that we didn't go over in detail, but it showed the San Mateo Wolverines defeating a very good Elsie Allen side by a fairly emphatic score of 35-12.
The Wolverines wanted to be in NorCal's Premier Division but last year was a tough year for them with every game (!) an away game.
Into April for HS Games
With the break around Easter last week it was sort of a slow weekend aside from some tours and the Tropical 7s, but this week we're seeing the games come back with more ... well, just more.
First off we take a look at some of the games that went on later this week.
Greenwich beat Ridgefield 64-10 with a strong defensive effort.
Easter Weekend Shakes Up HS Schedule
With Easter this weekend the slate of 15s games drops. Florida doesn't play and the Carolinas are chill as Tropical 7s takes over in the Southeast.
Some teams are on tour (GRR is on tour with one of them) and we;ll have notes on those.
MIAA (Massachusetts) and MIAA (Maryland) teams are in action.
Pre-Playoff Put-up Time in D1A and D1AA
While there are some D1A games next week, the games this week are the final salvo before the playoff seedings come out.
At present, if you look at GRR's rankings, we have this in the East:
Mount St.
