D2 and Small College Playoffs This Weekend

The Men's D2 games are Friday and we have their Round of 16 followed by the Round of 16 for the Small College teams on Saturday.

Then everyone plays their quarterfinals on Sunday. So by the end of the day we'll have final fours for each bracket (same, actually, with NCR D1 and D1AA).

Above we talk about the weird matchups in D2, and there are a few in small college, too. But it has to be remembered that these playoffs are regional. The West Coast bracket is going to stay that way, The New England-based bracket is going to remain so.

Teams Chase Humboldt, Babson as Small College Playoffs Kick Off

As a result, we take a look at these and probably see Babson coming out of the New England-area bracket, and Cal Poly Humboldt coming out of the West Coast. The Virginia-area bracket is a tough one to pick but we're leaning VMI. In the Midwest bracket, we're leaning Wayne State, which is a regular visitor to the final four.
