It's early days in the Boys Elite HS 7s at the Las Vegas Invitational, but already we know some stuff.

1. Taniwha out of New Zealand is the real deal. Not huge or imposing, they are very smart and see space very well. They hammered Upright Rugby (score unconfirmed), and while the Utah Cannibals pushed them, they are currently 2-0.

2. Eagle Impact Rugby Academy is pretty solid with their 2nd team having logged a win over Atavus and a very close loss to British Columbia.

3. DMV started off very well, beating BC on the final play in the first game of the day. They then slammed Atavus and look in a really good place, and will play EIRA 2 to secure the pool.
