Here is our fourth update on commits for college rugby this upcoming fall.
This time we're looking at a long list from Western Washington, St. Thomas, Clemson, Colorado State, Boise State, Tennessee, and women's teams Emory & Henry and St. Bonaventure.
NorCal Takes U16 Title at GNC
The Northern California Grizzlies wrapped up a repeat in the Boys U16 division at the Great Northwest Challenge, beating Colorado 22-8 in the championship game.
The final was a very close game through most of the contest. Colorado’s commitment to playing in the right end of the field made it difficult for the Grizzlies to get into scoring position.
Explosive NorCal Wins GNC Boys U19
Northern California exploded for seven converted tries to seal the Boys U19 championship at the Great Northwest Challenge, securing the title for the second year in a row.
Grizzlies, Bobcats, Colorado Lead GNC U16s
Arizona, Colorado, and Northern California all won their pools Saturday in the Boys U16 division of the Great Northwest Challenge.
Atlantis, Thunderbirds Take Honors in Mount Invitational
Atlantis and the Midwest Thunderbirds won The Mount Invitational in impressive fashion Saturday in wet conditions on the campus of Mount St. Mary's.
The Atlantis U19s took the U19 division, which was a straight, five-team round-robin.
